Check-in considerations: You should also check the factor in transfer and boarding time when booking your flight. Choose layovers that allow enough time to connect flights and for the immigration to avoid rushes or misses.
Accommodation Search
On-Campus or Off-Campus: Usually we Indians prefer the off campus housing, There are many reasons for that
1) The cost of the on-campus accommodations is very high
2) we stay with our friends in our own house.
Roommate Search: When You are searching for roommates or houses, Each University has there WhatsApp groups and telegrams where many people are doing the same. You can communicate with them, It helps a lot.
House Search: It is very crucial to fix the accommodation and then get into the flight, Then you will not have any risks in the immigration. If you have a group of friends you can Try to take a new house. There are some sites like apartments and also you can get help from the seniors who are already in the university. They will help better.

And most important part is to take a lease for fewer months then you can change to a new house if you do not like the roommates.
On-Campus Employment Opportunities:
Work Authorization: The first thing you should keep in mind before coming to us you should not do any illegal activities in the USA, you should understand the Regulations regarding employment opportunities, and you should only work on campus for 20 hrs per week. and you have 40 hours to work in the summer vacation.

Required Documents for Travel:
Visa Documents: You can carry the same documents you carried for the visa interview, like Form DS-160 or Form I-20), SEVIS fee receipt, and visa application confirmation for presentation at immigration checkpoints.
Flight: After completing my visa interview,I immediately booked the flight ticket.
My Considerations for the Flight:
- How cheap the flight is?
- How many bags and the weight will they allow?
- How many hours should I fly?
- what was the space of the seat on flights?
- what was the food they would give?
After all this, I decided and book the Etihad flight from Hyderabad to Detroit.
Accommodation: For the accommodation, I communicated with my group of friends and confirmed the home when we were in India.
OnCampus Employment: When I am in India I have no idea about this. So I am giving awareness to all of you guys.
Packing: I have a checklist for packing, as I am going to the coldest place, and also in winter, I have filled everything with the winterware. I can provide you the packing list If required.
